We collect and use your personal information based on applicable laws and regulations, and in accordance with the principles of justifiability, legality, and necessity. If we intend to use your personal information for purposes not specified in this Privacy Policy, or if we wish to use the information collected for other purposes, we will promptly inform you in a reasonable manner and seek your consent before using it.
The types of personal information we collect and use include two categories: First, information essential for the core functional scenarios of our products and/or services: This information is indispensable for the normal operation of the products and/or services, and you must authorize us to collect it. If you refuse to provide this information, you will be unable to use our products and/or services; Second, information required for additional business functions: This information is not essential for the core business functions, and you can choose whether to authorize us to collect it. If you refuse to provide this information, it will result in the inability to achieve the intended effects of the additional business functions, but it will not affect your use of the core business functions (for example, in one of our games, the regional leaderboard function requires you to authorize your location permissions so we can obtain your location information. If you refuse to authorize, you can still use the service but cannot participate in the regional leaderboard ranking).
We would like to particularly remind you that due to the numerous games and services we offer, there may be differences in the built-in functions, game progress, and game activity designs. Therefore, the core business functions (including the types of personal information they collect) and additional business functions may differ accordingly. The specifics will be based on the actual provision of the product or service. Additionally, we aim to provide you with a complete product and service, so we will continuously improve our products and services, including technology. This also means that we may frequently introduce new business functions, which may require the collection of new personal information or changes in the purpose or method of using personal information. If a function or product/service that requires the collection of your personal information is not described in this Privacy Policy, we will inform you through updates to this Privacy Policy, page prompts, pop-ups, in-game announcements, forum announcements, and other means. We will provide you with the option to agree to the collection of this information and will collect it only after obtaining your explicit consent. If you have any questions about this, you can contact us using the methods provided in Article 10 of this Privacy Policy, and we will respond as soon as possible.
Typically, we collect and use your personal information in the following scenarios:
- 1.When you register or use our services, we will collect your network identity identifier and personal commonly used device information to mark you as a user of our company. To collect the basic personal device information, we will request access to your device information. If you log in to our services using a third-party account such as WeChat, QQ, TapTap, or other platforms, we will collect your unique identifier, nickname, profile picture, friend relationships, and other information you authorize (as displayed on the third-party account authorization page, such as when logging in with a TapTap account, we will collect the nickname, profile picture, gender, and friend relationships of the TapTap account). This information will be used to save your login information, allowing you to log in or share game content on different devices.
-
2.
To meet the requirements of relevant laws, regulations, and regulatory authorities, our users need to undergo real-name authentication to continue using and enjoying our services. We will collect your real-name identity information (including name, ID number), phone number, with your consent or when you proactively provide it, to complete the real-name authentication. If you log in to our services using a third-party account, after your authorization, we may obtain your real-name verification information (sensitive personal information) from that third party to complete the real-name authentication. The real-name identity information you provide will be compared with data sources from authoritative data platforms. If the information matches, the authentication will be successful. This information is considered sensitive personal information, and refusing to provide real-name identity information may result in your inability to enjoy all game features or face certain restrictions while using our services.
If you log in and use Yi Mei's games without real-name authentication, we will provide users with a service duration of no more than 60 minutes in visitor mode, and in visitor mode, only some functions can be provided. Users will not be able to perform recharge operations, chat, or other functions that are required by relevant authorities not to be provided. To ensure the functionality, our company needs to allocate a randomly generated unique identifier to users based on their device information, so we will request access to your device information permissions (if you use an Android device, the permission name may be "Phone Permissions" or "Read Phone State and Identity," as the case may be), and we will only record browsing history locally in the "visitor" state. During this process, our company will request access to device storage permissions to facilitate logging and caching information.
- 3.To ensure you can normally log in and use our services and to maintain the normal and stable operation of the game's basic functions, we need to obtain the permission to read from and write to the device's external storage (if you are using an Android device, this may include permissions such as "Read External Storage," "Read/Write SD Card Content," and "Modify/Delete SD Card Content"). This is used for mobile client installation storage, reading game archives and files (including necessary game processes and cache, as well as reading, writing, downloading, saving, or modifying images or photo albums, files, and crash logs). If you refuse to provide these permissions, it may result in your inability to use our related products and services.
- 4.When you use our company's services, we will collect your game log information, such as login logs, item logs, store purchase logs, event logs, guild logs, level-up logs, and chat logs, so that you can view your game history in the client. This information is also used for game operations statistics and analysis, customer service complaint handling, anti-cheating analysis in games, and other game experience optimization analyses.
- 5.When you use our company's services and post information or interact with other players through text, images, voice, video, or other means, we may collect and save the content you send to filter and monitor inappropriate content such as pornography, violence, politics, insults, and malicious advertisements. This helps purify the game environment and maintain a healthy online environment.
- 6.To ensure the security of your game account and to create a fair, healthy, and safe game environment, we will collect your game application information, device information (device ID, device serial number, manufacturer, device name, device type and version, model, and style), network identity recognition information, operating system and process information, network environment information, and game crash records. This is to detect piracy, scan for cheats, and prevent cheating.
- 7.When you initiate a complaint, appeal, or consultation, or apply for account cancellation with our company, we may need to verify your user identity by matching the account information you provide with previously provided personal information. To facilitate communication or solve your issues, we may also need to collect your personal information such as your name, phone number, email, and other contact information (sensitive personal information). Additionally, we will collect your communication information (in the form of text, images, audio/video, or call records) and other necessary information related to your needs. We collect these to investigate facts and assist in solving your issues. If you refuse to provide this information, we may not be able to provide timely feedback on the results of your complaint, appeal, or consultation.
- 8.When you use certain in-game consumption functions, we will collect your recharge and consumption records to allow you to query your transaction history and protect your virtual items to the maximum extent. In case of disputes, we will provide information to customer service to support the handling of claims. Recharge and consumption records are considered sensitive personal information, and collecting this information is necessary to achieve our service's consumption function. Without it, transactions cannot be completed.
- 9.When you interact with other users through voice or video (such as real-time battle voice chat), we need you to authorize access to your device's microphone and camera (camera) permissions to provide you with voice chat, live interaction, and other functions. If you refuse to provide these permissions and content, it will only prevent you from using the corresponding functions, but it will not affect your ability to use other functions of the product and/or service. At the same time, you can also enable or disable these permissions at any time through your device's system permission management page.
- 10.Participating in certain in-game peripheral activities may involve taking photos, screenshots, scanning QR codes, and recording video scenes. If you intend to use these functions, we will access your device's camera and/or device recording (microphone) permissions, and collect the image and video information you upload after scanning QR codes, taking photos, or recording videos (in specific in-game activities, such as AR camera activities, we may track your face during the process to remind you to move your face correctly to ensure the portrait is in frame, but we do not collect any facial information during this process). If you refuse to provide these permissions and content, it will only prevent you from using these functions, but it will not affect your ability to use other functions of the product and/or service. At the same time, you can also enable or disable these permissions at any time through your device's system permission management page.
- 11.If you wish to interact with other users of our company near you, participate in offline and online peripheral activities near you, or participate in regional rankings within the game, you can authorize us to access your location information so that we can recommend the latest news or more suitable service content in your area. After you authorize and agree, we will collect your location information. Precise location information is considered sensitive information. Refusing to provide this information will only prevent you from achieving specific functions, but it will not affect your ability to use our services. You can also revoke your location information authorization at any time.
- 12.To better provide our core and additional services, our products may include third-party SDKs. You agree to allow these SDKs to directly collect and process your information (such as through embedded code or plugins) to ensure proper use of the functions. The collection and processing of information by these SDKs will comply with the privacy terms of the respective SDK service providers, not this Privacy Policy. To maximize the protection of your information security, we recommend that you carefully review and read their privacy terms. To safeguard your legal rights and interests, if you find that these SDKs or similar applications pose risks, we suggest you immediately terminate the relevant operations and contact us promptly.
-
13.In accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and national standards, under the following circumstances, we may collect and use your personal information without seeking your authorization and consent:
- (1) Related to the fulfillment of our legal obligations;
